Shadow Shot Sunday 80 - Miami South Beach

There is something about near-deserted beaches as evening falls and shadows lengthen which is altogether extremely appealing.....

This was my first sight of Miami's South Beach a few weeks ago at the beginning of November...

Not many people about to soak up these scenes of windswept beach, scudding clouds, blue sky, white sand, and long, long shadows....just me and the beach huts!!

For more shadowhunters from around the globe, check out Shadow Shot Sunday by clicking here... Enjoy!

For me, that would be a perfect day at the beach. Scudding clouds, huddled beach huts, and miles of unpopulated windswept white sand to walk? A gift for the soul.

. . . and I thought I cast a long shadow! You beat me all hollow on that one. Love the lonely beach, just my kind of place.

The sun leaves strong shadows on the beach - the anthesis of what sun worshipers seek. Yet a day devoid of stifling heat, full of shadows is wonderful. To be alone on this beach means that you can find a more windswept artistry for your photo art. Which you have!

So Brits living in Mexico go to Miami for holidays? Looks like you got Miami at its best. :) Great shadows when there's no one else there.
I hope you're going back to Mexico, however. I've come to rely on your photos for my Mex-fix.

Now these are some gorgeous long shadows to see on an almost deserted beach ? my kind of beach for sure !
Isn't it strange who we see and react to these types of shadows: )
