Shadow Shot 88 - Miami South Beach

I have been admiring so many beautiful shadow snow shots from around the world recently, and vicariously enjoying those very cold winters that so many of you have been experiencing, but today I couldn't resist posting some colourful, sunny beach shots from my recent November trip to Miami South Beach....

I really like the combination of the lurid lime of the windsurfer sail with the bright, bright blue of those Miami skies....

The delicate shadow imprint of the mesh and the number of the sail, also adds interest to this beach shot. Aren't the combination of colours just gorgeous in this final shot?

For more shadow shots around the world this week, don't hesitate to click here for Shadow Shot Sunday.....Enjoy!

These are heap cool photos. I love ‘em. I love the contrast and strength of colour and the brightness of them all.

Have a good weekend, Boonie

Warm looks fine to this northerner! The low tide washes upon the white sand, the briny and warm air a place to relax. Under the pleasant November sun. A warm view takes the chill away, if only briefly...

I'm getting a bit warmed up from the heat of the sun, sand, and vibrant colours of these photos. I noticed in the post below that you said you've survived a winter in Winnipeg?!!! Well, you certainly have earned your years in Mexico, trying to warm up from that experience!

Beautiful, Catherine. I love the reflected numbers, and you're right, the colours in the last shot.

Your sail shadows are lovely and that water looks so very inviting! Splashing around in that beach right now would be quite a treat!

I'm also having fun admiring the many winter snow shadows from other shooters as snow is something so foreign to me. Have a great week Catherine :)

Once you visit Florida, you have the overwhelming desire to want to live there, such beauty...I followed my dream once and picked up and moved there, it was the most glorious 3 years ever spent. Family illness then tragedy pulled me back to Iowa, but I still dream of the warm aqua waters of my Florida!
