Shadow Shot 89 : Mexico City

I am leaving you with a little Mexican street colour whilst I take off to cold and snowy Boston for 5 days with 16 students in tow representing Singapore at the Harvard Model United Nations Conference. On my return, I may be able to post some shadow snow shots to compete with all of you......In the meantime, check out Shadow Shot Sunday by clicking here. Enjoy!

A British lady living in Mexico off to the USA with students from Singapore... now that is living proof of international relations...

Beautiful colors in the wall, and one can imagine all sorts of things casting such a shadow...

Bon voyage !

It looks as if the tree is cartwheeling in front of that gorgeously two-toned wall.

16 students to herd off to a foreign land. You are made of sterner stuff than I. I hope you have (had) a great time!

One of the things I appreciate so much about Mexico is all the color--especially when mixed with shadows!

IF YOU SEE A SHADOW

If you see a shadow
And want to keep it near,
Point your trusty shooter
(Make sure the lens is clear);
Press with care the shutter,
Do not slam or sock it—
Then you’ll have a photo
To carry in your pocket!

A great trunk snaking along the wall.
Wish I could join you on your trip. I could do with some New england snow as my brain fries at 42C here.

Dramatic shadow, and the colors and textures of the wall and door behind are to die for. Hope you have a great trip to Boston! Hope the kids brought boots.
