these are wonderful shadows. the intensity of the light can be felt. great captures. happy SSS, and I hope your coastal travels yield lots of fantastic photos. be safe.
Love the cactus shadows! Have a wonderful holiday!
The cactus is beautiful, its spiny leaves opened up in a spring-y pose. The shadow is royal and elegant - I see a crown in shadow, styled for a Queen. Great capture!
Great shot! I like it!

Gorgeous! And your 100th SSS post? Wow! That's so super cool! Thanks so much for joining in every week as I (and everyone else) really appreciates it! I hope you're enjoying your trip!
It simply would not do to fall headlong--or posterior-long--into that spiny plant!
SOME SAY THAT SHADOWS
Some say that shadows are fragments of light,
Others that they are but pieces of night,
Fleeing like demons when dawn becomes day,
Fearing the radiance coming their way.
Is one notion wrong and one notion right?
Just what are shadows if they are not light?
