Shadow Shot Sunday 110 - Puerto Vallarta

I have just finished school here in Mexico, and am off to the beach for five days -not this one in Puerto Vallarta where the sting ray got me last Christmas, but Pie de la Cuesta a tiny place North of Acapulco....

I am looking forward to chilling out, swimming, and reading before preparing for the final departure from Mexico on Sunday 10th July...

The driftwood makes such artsy shadows. Wow! Is it really that soon that you leave Mexico?

You capture the solitude of this sandy spot very well with that lone tree. The surf brought this in to shore, the lone shadow highlighting the sparse scene. This contrasts well with the hordes of beach goers. So crowded or not, a beach is to relax...

There s something something that always draws one to driftwood. Is it that it has been yet is resurrected in some other place and time to exist in another way? Are you happy to be going home or ambivalent about leaving Mexico behind?

What a wonderful mix to your mosaics...local beach color along with the drifting wood. beautiful captures. Watch out for those sting rays this year. Wish I were there.

That driftwood could scare a little kid, especially when you add the shadow effect. http://looseleafnotes.com
