Shadow Shot Sunday 134 - Cap D'Ail

In a few days' time, I will be heading back home to Cap D'Ail on the French Riviera after spending Christmas and New Year at my other home in London. Hopefully sunshine and blue skies will be greeting me on my return.....
Here are some shadow shots from the coastal path outside my apartment which runs from Cap D'Ail to Monaco. These were taken in mid December, so it is easy to see why people started to winter here during the Belle Epoque era....

For more shadow shots from around the world, click here for the new Shadow Shot Sunday. Enjoy!!

Bonjour Catherine. C'est splendide! I wish you a very happy new year, filled with hardworking students, good time spent with friends, in England, in France, or online, and above all, many, many more sunny days! Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

Quite a different view from where you spent the holidays, I'm sure - but both beautiful in their own way. Yes...I can see why this would be a popular winter vacation spot!

All the best for the new year!

This view is wonderful - the blue sky and azure waters are great, and this path cut into the rocky hillside is amazing engineering, allowing us to follow the path and admire the scenery. The wall and shadow will protect us if our minds wander as we enjoy the scenery...Happy New Year!
