Shadow Shot Sunday 152 - St Tropez

This week's shadow shot was taken in St Tropez on the French Riviera - an ex fishing village made famous by Brigitte Bardot when she came to film here. Now it is a seriously chic and trendy destination with seriously chic and trendy prices. You are looking at a 7 Euro cup of tea!!

The Senequier cafe is right on the port, and is reputedly where Sartre used to sit and write. It is a great people-watching place and you certainly need to sit here for hours to get value for money!! If you want to see the view from this cafe check out the next post on St Tropez....

In the meantime, check out the other shadow shots this week by clicking here for Shadow Shot Sunday....Enjoy!

Was it red in Sartre's day, I wonder. Love the promise of hearing about the serious stuff of living there! Is it the austerity economy that is creating higher prices, or is it because, as you say, it is where the glamor is...
Never-the-less, I expect the coffee is wonderful! Great shots.

Now that's our "cup of tea" we love tea....even though it's a bit spendy...it would be worth it to sit and reflect...and search for shadows as well :) Enjoy your day Catherine!

it's so....RED! I'm not certain, but I suspect I would feel just a bit out of place there. But maybe not. I hope the coffee is delicious! excellent shadow shots. happy week to you.

St Tropez; le Senequier. The place to see and to be seen. It is hard to imagine what a sleepy little fishing village it once was, "pre-B.B." It is still a lovely place to visit off season. Great shots. Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

Better to be there now than in August! :-)

Hmmm...maybe I'd spend my 7 euros on something other than a cup of tea, no matter how wonderful the view.

Perhaps you should link up this post to Ruby Tuesday. You have some amazing red along side of the shadows.
