Shadow Shot Sunday 155 - Monaco

Looking over the edge of the Rock in Monaco, I noticed this empty playground below with its shadowy swing and shadowy trees simply awaiting children to come and play. The more conventional shot that everyone else was taking was this scenic view of Fontvielle harbour...

Nice shadows...I also go for the less conventional shots when possible.

An empty playground can be a bit sad!

I've never seen a playground--and an empty swing--from above. Good eye!

Children (of any age) are always ready to play, so an unexpected playground beckons. The photographer sees it too - the cityscape below will be that most expect to see always. The playground is a small gem that attracts the discerning eye - very nice!

Both are pleasing! Although, you know, I think the shadow shot pleases my muse the most!

«Louis» really likes the Haussmann-era building in your masthead photo.

What a beautiful image (the one of the playground). As you mentioned, just waiting for the little ones to fill it up with laughter and merriment.

Greetings from London.

Lovely to have enough sun to provide such sharp shadows - it's gloomy here again!

That's a spectacular view of the city, and a whimsical perspective on the swing set.
