This blog used to be about living in Mexico City and travelling throughout Mexico, but I have now moved to the French Riviera, living in Nice and working in Monaco.....Can the simple life be found here?? I will try and find out....

Shadow Shot Sunday 178 - Antibes
A shady, shadowy little green corner tucked away in the back streets of old Antibes.....
A contrast to the showy, striking blues which are usually on offer here....
Wonderful, beautiful shadow shots for the day, Catherine!! I do love the tree shadows and the green door is the perfect backdrop indeed!! Enjoy your weekend!
There are still leaves on the trees - I am not envious, but with today's snow here...The marina looks nice, the watercraft sitting under a sky ans sea of blue. I am feeling warmer already!
The leafy shadow play against the soft tones of the door and wall in old Antibes somehow holds more appeal for me than the bright beauty of the sea scenes. I can't help but wonder if that was your intention in posting them together?
Wow-I know you've posted that sculpture before, but I had no idea or sense of scale until now-when I see it in relation to the bridge. And all those yellow buildings make a nice canvas for shadows.
louciao - yes you are right - I prefer the shadowy corners of a place as opposed to the obvious stuff on show...thanks for all the lovely comments this week - much appreciated!

There's just something irresistible about tree shadows planted against buildings!
A Sip of Evening Shadows
love the green door as the backdrop for your shadows...
I love the lacy shadows accented by the color of the buildings!
