Now is perhaps the best time to visit the beaches in the vicinity of Nice....before they are filled with the typical crowds thronging the Riviera. Visit Villefranche during these lovely clear and bright winter days and have the beach almost to yourself..........Perfect!!

Too, too cruel. Most of the U.S. is covered in snow. I can't even bear to look at my own beach pix but you've forced me to gaze at these lovely scenes and plot my next warm trip.
I see that you're beginning to think like natives, and to enjoy the peace of winter.. :o)
