Shadow Shot Sunday 206 - Monti, Rome

Where would you find this rather welcoming shadow writing??

In the absolutely charming neighbourhood of Monti in Rome where I recently stayed for five days in a convent - run by Ukrainian nuns as the delightful "hotel" Casa Santa Sofia......

The neighbourhood, which is tucked behind the Colesseum, is a delightful little oasis of cobbled streets and charming architecture peppered with a mixture of local shops, bakeries and trattorias as well as newer ateliers, boutiques, and bars....

That is so cool. I have sun art but never thought of word art before.

It looks warm and inviting. Fun to see shadows of words on buildings and sidewalks.

Always a visual feast here! I also couldn't help but notice the wonderful, aged patina on those buildings. What an incredible experience that must've been.
