Isn´t it fascinating how harsh sunlight and shadow can transform the most ordinary and familiar of everyday objects into the eerily strange and unrecognisable?? This was taken on the roof terrace of Edward James´ former home in Xilitla which is now run as a hotel called "Posada El Castillo". More details to follow.......In the meantime hunt down more Sunday shadow shots by clicking here for Hey Harriet....

I'll take zebra legs any day as long as it's warm...and I'm getting anxious for warm...come on already!!!
All I can think of when I look at your great shadow is...that I wish it was warm enough here to bare my legs like that. Nice shot!
Does that mean that you have zebra striped tanned legs now? I'd love to see that!
I guess most of us are wishing the same thing -- that we had enough sun to play zebra legs!! Terrific shadow shots!
Haha! That's so very cool! I was wondering the same thing as 'Hot Fudge' about you having striped tanned legs now!
Cool shot! Looks like a lovely place to be sitting:D
Love this one!!!! Great shot.
Thanks for all your comments this week... and especially the concern about the stripey tan... no I just my feet up for a little while to admire the rooftop view so no permanent damage!!
Fantastic shot - lovely those stripey shadows! Oh...to lounge in the sun...I'm SO ready.
What a cute shadow shot....I would love it if it were warm here in my part of the country as well! Great shot by the way!
