Shadow Shot Sunday 46 - Boston

Last week I took a group of my students to the Harvard Model United Nations Conference in Boston. The day we visited the Harvard University campus was a bright, crisp, minus 9 with wind chill kind of day, so the tree shadows were starkly imprinted right across Harvard Square...

We loved these clear winter days that made our faces ache and then go numb with the cold...and brought out such striking shadows.....

Here is the group of 15 seventeen year olds with whom I survived six days on a school trip...relatively unscathed!!

As you can see our task was to represent Australia at the conference, and for more fun with shadows hop over down under to Brisbane for Shadow Shot Sunday hosted by Tracey by clicking here. Have fun!!

Cool picture - we just love the doors in Boston...we have 70+ pictures just of doors when we visited several years ago - what fun...and with all those teenagers....you deserve an award!!

The look of classic New England is in full view - minus the snow, that is! Harvard has a look all its own, classic. You were traveling with great kids, they knew the rules and were well behaved. Boston is a bit different than Mexico, with lovely shadows!

Boston is certainly different from Mexico!!! What a great trip for your students and YOU survived!!! And your shadow shots are marvelous as always -- does look cold and I'm sure it felt even colder. Have a great weekend! Happy Valentine's Day!

Wonderful sharp shadows.
Your group looks very happy - glad you survived unscathed as it's not the easiest job in the world;-)

Good for you for surviving that trip! Actually it is a nice looking bunch of teens.

The sharp shadows in the first photo are stunning.

Happy shadow seeking this week. ;-)

Your students look so smart! I bet they were great. Sounds like an enjoyable trip. Love the tree shadows-the first one is amazing-looks like it is creeping up on that lovely building.

Love the first photo with the tree shadows running down (or up!) the steps. Representing Australia at the conference? Wow, how cool! 6 days with a bunch of 15 year olds must have been exhausting!

Boston looks very cold (LOVE that city!) but the shadows are so clear - crisp just like the weather.

Haha. Congrats on surviving Boston with 125 students in tow! Those trees made some of the best shadow shots. Really nice.

OMG I love that first shot. It's almost a little scary looking in a way, but whimsical too.

From Mexico to Boston representing Australia? Anyhow, you obviously had a nice trip. To visit Harvard with or without snow must be very interesting.
