Shadow Shot Sunday 98 - Oaxaca

Welcome to the beautiful world of Oaxaca this week the very heart and soul of Mexico....and the Acapulco Armchair which provides very welcome solace and relaxation on the shady patios of "Las Golondrinas" which happens to be my favourite place to stay in town....

Who could resist this friendly pension with grapefruit trees aptly overhanging the al fresco breakfast tables, and all those beautiful lush plants and flowers blooming so vibrantly in all the courtyards....

Why visit Oaxaca? - Look at the images below and there will be no question about it.....

Check out Shadow Shot Sunday for more global photography....

The city is beautiful, your presentation just the thing to convince to visit someday. The shade is welcome after we visit under the warm sun. The shade trees protect us from the solar rays, and the style and grace of Oxaca is soothing and relaxing...

The armchair is cool just by itself, but the shadows it makes are terrific. Love all the shots of Oaxaca-looks lovely. Mickie

Finding myself being envious again! I shall get my thrills vicariously though, through your travels and images. Are those not the coolest chairs with the coolest shadows? Not to mention the coolest colors!

Those chairs have such pleasing forms and colours. The shadows are so delicate, like fine etchings. The whole place is pretty pretty!

The colorful chairs look like fantastical flowers blooming!

FRAGMENTS OF LIGHT

Since shadows are fragments of light,
Most gracefully they can take flight
And soar through the air
(They do this, I swear)
As though they were some sort of kite.

I love your photos.

Would you be able to tell me how you make and post the collage photos, that is, the block with multiple photos?

Thank you.

Joan
