Shadow Shot Sunday 135 - Cap D'Ail

It may be January on the French Riviera, but there is still plenty of blue sky and winter sunshine that this cyclist is certainly soaking up on the digue high above Cap D'Ail harbour....

The strong sunshine and acid light is still bringing out those sharp, stark shadows, despite the fresh coolness of the air....

For more shadow shots from around the world this week, click here for the new Shadow Shot Sunday. Enjoy!!

Yeah. Life is hard on the French Riviera, Owen. Poor, poor people. And poor Catherine, who has to document it all ;-) Veronique (French Girl in SEattle)

The vertical railings give a look almost like an arrow - this way to the beach! Your new domicile is wonderful, the light blue sky and azure waters are such a treat as up North the gray of winter predominates. Gorgeous views!

The shadows ARE stark, and I would never know that the air was crisp, had you not mentioned it.

A SHADOW THE SIZE OF THE SUN

If I had a shadow the size of the sun,
I’m not sure how fast I’d be able to run,
Or if I could flee from its ravenous jaws,
While keeping away from its razor-sharp claws!

Lots of sunshine and crisp shadows, lucky you. Not luck, actually, but good planning on your part.
