Shadow Shot Sunday 137 - Nice

A lone bicycle without a saddle casts its lonely shadow on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice waiting for  its rider to return,...... but it is not alone..and soon joined by a host of others....

And who are these alien intruders a little further along the Promenade?? Just a couple of outdoor urinals of course!!

For more shadow shots from around the world click here for the new Shadow Shot Sunday. Enjoy!!

You found some nice shadows ... and some less poetic! :-)

The low sun during our winter months is of course the ideal moment to find really long and nice shadows!

Love the shots with the two bicycles and their shadows.

The bike shadows in the beautiful light are so romantic!
And the outdoor urinal, at first, I thought was an upturned wine glass sculpture! I thought that was quite romantic too till I read what it was really!

I like your "aliens"!

BOOKISH SHADOWS

Darksome shadows in my path,
You are not the Grapes of Wrath;

And yet when I hear your hums,
Something Wicked This Way Comes!

May your darkness turn to light
Like The House of Mirth, all right?

May all sadness drift away—
Send Lolita here to play!

Love those bicycle/shadow shots. Super. What is it about bikes that are so fascinating?
