Shadow Shot Sunday 140 - Nice

Here's another architectural shadow shot from Nice this time - I am thinking of moving into Nice as of the summer, and so went to look at this apartment on the top floor of a typical building with my favourite colour combination here - lemon and aquamarine. Of course the vibrant blue sky helps set it all off too - don't you think??

For more shadow shots this week click here for Shadow Shot Sunday.... Enjoy!! ps this week sees my THIRD year of contributing to this very engaging meme.....it is addictive!

Oh, yes! The blue skies are indeed "heavenly"!! And they would surely influence my choice! Lovely building! Hope you find the perfect place! Love your shadow shots for the day, Catherine! Enjoy the remainder of your weekend!

Love this view of a softly bright building with shadow bursts of the palm and other shadowy shapes! Wonderful! And good luck with your apartment hunting!

Moving to Nice? That's my plan when my son goes off to college in a few years. I can't wait to spend a few months a year there, when the weather gets too drab here in Seattle. Good luck with apartment hunting. Prices are pretty high in Nice, but what beautiful colors on those buildings. More cheerful than the usual grey façades found everwhere else. Amazing how clear the details are in the shadow on the building!

The Mediterranean seems a place where pastel colors are perfect, of course starting with the azure water. The yellow is like the sun, so the building looks perfect.

There is a lift to take you to the top floor- right??

So how was the inside of the apartment ? Was there a good view from up there ? Hope you've been staying warm through this cold spell !

Yes! That lemon yellow against the blue sky is STUNNING! With all the moves you do, you must never get a chance to accumulate much junk!

I really like your architectural collage. It is so nice to be able to see so many views of the same building. Wonderful captures. genie
