The Jardin des Plantes is a 24 hectare botanical garden in the Latin Quarter of Paris on the Left Bank. It was first established in 1626 as a medicinal and herb garden for Louis X111, and has since expanded to include a wealth of attractions....
The long tree-lined avenues and vistas are perfect for jogging, strolling or picnicking - a lovely wide open space in the heart of Paris....

I like the long lines of perspective here!
This aspiring photographer agrees with Malyss. Lovely shots of a lovely -and quite unique- Parisian garden, Catherine. When he was younger, my son loved visiting the old-fashioned zoo at the back of the park. Did you go? Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)
It seems that the beauty of Paris was no accident - the wide boulevards and pathways were left with so much natural space beside them to allow for floral treats to welcome you into the city, and leave a soft au revoir as you leave. Beauty one will surely revisit again
I wonder what people would think if I treated those shadows as a maze and began to walk round and round toward some imaginary centre?
Seeking Clarity—and Shadows
These are nice Spring-like photos - lovely!
Wonderful network of shadows in your collage and love the bright joy of the flower beds! Lovely photos!
The wonderful shadows of trees not yet fully in leaf and the flowers are lovely. April in Paris!
Gorgeous images!

So pretty!
Hope you'd come by and see my Shadows. Enjoy your weekend!
Ooo, la la! There is something exquisite about being able to post images you've taken in Paris, isn't there?
Merci buckets for such wonderful shots!
There's a beatiful symmetry in that first photo that is hugely magnified by the shadow effect. I loved it.
Greetings from (a still very wet) London.
Lovely shots of the gardens!
What a gorgeous place! The photos you took are lovely - great shadows as well!
I love the maze like look the shadows cast! Winding and intertwining!
