This week's shadow shot is the view from the window of my new apartment in the centre of Nice. After a wonderful summer spent in London, I am back in France, moved into a new apartment, and back at work at the International School of Monaco where I teach Literature......

What a lovely flat! What is style is really which country - and we envision France when we see these views! I say this as one who visited a border town in (then West) Germany and went to dinner 15 minutes away in France. And each country had its own distinct style. The pastel exterior and shutters show a stylish French look - nice!

Beautiful shot! I wish you luck with your new abode and your new course. I think you'll enjoy Italy if you can get over impatient drivers (that's, if you're driving). I thought the people generous but sometimes when popping into the more expensive boutiques and shops I felt unwelcomed. Then, again, the area where we stayed was quite glamourous.
