Shadow Shot Sunday 172 - Nice Port

Down at the port in Nice last week, the sun was shining and the shadows were sharp and strong...

But there are also some lovely splashes of rich colour in the vibrant hues of the architecture around the port...

For more shadow shots this week, click here for Shadow Shot Sunday.....Enjoy! And a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all shadowhunters who contribute to the meme....

They certainly are not afraid to use color there in Nice! I applaud that-we all, as human beings respond to color (in a good way). Which befuddles me as to why we don't use more color in architecture as they do there.

Those wrought iron railings that overlook the water make for really artistic shadows! The pastel hues over the buildings in Nice are wonderful, the light colors adding a subtle character under the winter sun. Nice is nice!
