Strolling around the cobbled streets of Real de Monte last weekend, I suddenly noticed in the early evening that the longest shadows I had ever seen were being thrown....
Of course the shadows of the children were considerably shorter than mine, but check out old longshanks below....
More postings on the fascinating magic village of Real de Monte to follow. In the meantime for more fun with shadows, check out Shadow Shot Sunday by clicking here

I like long shadows - great fun :-)
Wow, you should be a catwalk model with legs like those!!!! Great shadows, the cobbled street gave you a beautiful backdrop.
You look as if you are on stilts! The setting sun adds to the height of any and all shadows!
fun shadows!!
We think those are the longest shadows we've ever seen! Gosh...we'd kill for long legs like that :)
Have a great weekend Catherine!

Hi Longshanks! Fun shots and great shadows!
That must have been late in the day.
I was thinking that you wouldn't see snow in Mexico and then looked at your header. Elevation is as much a factor as latitude.
Love those great long shadows! My what long legs you have my dear! Better to walk through Mexico I'm sure! lol

The stone roads are amazing, the photo with the children is awesome. Have a great week
Love the cobblestone streets, especially with the children playing, what fun they must be having.
Love the cemetery shots, how fascinating the history, all but one facing the homeland...I wonder what the story is there...?
