There are many places to chill out in the centre of Mexico City, many, many more than people may think. If it is Sunday then it is time to head to the boating lake in Chapultepec Park, hire a paddle boat or a rowing boat and just drift............
This is what a February day looks like here - plenty of sunshine, and plenty of shadowy green in the water to make the shots a contender for SHADOW SHOT SUNDAY!!

Please send me some of that lovely sunshine - we have snow today!
The beauty of such a calm pond is great for a day of relaxing paddling in both sun and shadow. To float aimlessly is to relax, to forget the day's annoyances. Soft and comfortable a day on the water can be!
Oh, I love it!! If you find a way to pack up some of that gorgeous sunshine, I'll be a happy recipient!!! Have a great weekend, Catherine!!

I agree with Ralph, floating aimlessly is so relaxing, and that calm, shadowy pond is the perfect place.

Pretty shots! Looks like fun too!
Lovely to see that such a large city has a place like this!
Drifting upon a lake sounds lovely! And gosh even the water is so pretty and colourful in Mexico!
Very beautiful - a green shadow! I like the composition and the feel.
I love the way the light is reflecting off of the water...beautiful.
Great shots & a great way to spend an hour or two.
Colour me a shade of green.
Although we normally have mild February's here too, this year it was icy. I enjoyed all the green shadows!!
