Shadow Shot Sunday 38 - Down underground

When you read this, I will be on my way to spend Christmas and New Year travelling around Costa Rica, but I have set up some posts in my absence; after all I cannot possibly miss Shadow Shot Sunday!! So this is what I have temporarily left behind - the rather ugly, underground concrete car park in my apartment building, which however is somewhat transformed by sunshine and stripey zebra shadows. For more shadows click here for Shadow Shot Sunday. Enjoy!!

Great shadows. Enjoy Costa Rica--I haven't been there in nearly 25 years, but I have very fond memories of the place.

Have a wonderful trip...I am however enjoying your zebra stripes in the sun...rather gloomy in Iowa today!

Love those shadows! Wonderful patterns!

These zebra stripe shadows are stunning. I see a herringbone set of shadows that are playing tricks on our eyes. The garage/carpark offers us a bit of art within the non-descript concrete. Happy Christmas in Costa Rica!

Imagine a world without shadows. That car park would be very mundane indeed, but look how graphic it is with the addition of the sharp zebra shadows. Have a wonderful Christmas in Costa Rica - you can tell I'm envious!

It's not too ugly. At least not the way you've presented it! Hope you're having a great time in Costa Rica. It's a place I've always wanted to visit so I'm very envious!

Wow that is a great capture of zebra stripe shadows. It makes something ordinary look extraordinary.

Enjoy your travels to Costa Rica. Ralph's late father lived there for a while when he retired. He loved it.
