Shadow Shot Sunday 111 - San Francisco

The Japanese Tea Garden is a wonderful oasis of calm and tranquility located in the heart of Golden Gate Park, San Francisco. The symmetry of the architecture, the harmony of the trees and cherry blossom, the balance of the reflections all combine to create a perfect atmosphere of sheer serenity.....

It's been years since I've been to the tea garden. Thank you for the memories!

SHADOW, BE TRUE

My shadow has come out to play.
Oh, shadow, please don’t run away!
Stay here by my side,
Pretend you’re my bride—
Be true to me now and alway!

Great shots! I love to visit San Francisco. I haven't been there in a while, almost a year. And it's ben longer since I've been to Golden Gate Park! Now i have the wanderlust to get out there and sit at the Chestnut Street Coffee Roastery on, guess what street? Chestnut, of course. Beautiful captures of a beautiful place!

This garden is quiet, a reflective place to contemplate and unwind. The shadows and reflections turn down the heat and we feel a burden of daily irritations lifted off of us immediately. So nicely captured!
